Policies

The policy sections are the organisation's business rules and an interpretation of how to apply legislation.

The policy defines the limits and rules of why the Credit Union does or does not engage in an activity.

The aim of the CU-KnowHow policy suite is to provide a significant starting point for the Credit Union to write appropriate and thorough policies for their business.

CU-KnowHow contains 150 policies across the following chapters:

Branch Lending
Branch Tasks
Miscellaneous
Member Administration
Direct entry

Human Resources
Member Chequing

It is important to note that Maxen does not recommend that the policies be published as they are delivered: the documents must be reviewed and customised to fit the Credit Union.
